Aghabullogue GAA club raise over €91k for children’s cancer charity

A Cork GAA club’s fundraiser has raised over €91,000 for a children’s cancer charity. Hence, hugely surpassing their initial target of €5,000.
Last month, Aghabullogue launched the ‘Barrathon’ fundraiser, an initiative to raise much-needed funds for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie.
This is a charity which provides vital support to children suffering from cancer in Ireland and their families.

“The fundraiser is very close to our hearts.

“One of our own players his son has been going through treatment in Crumlin over the last couple of years.

“Aoibheann’s Pink Tie has been a huge support to the family,” said Michael Dilworth, Aghabullogue GAA’s PRO.
