Mother and daughter both shave their heads for Pieta

A mother and daughter who usually take part in Darkness into Light have come up with a slightly different way of raising funds for Pieta House.
Eileen and Aoife Patterson set-up an iDonate.ie page promising to both shave their heads in order to reach a fundraising target of €1,000. As of Monday morning, the pair had already raised €5,385, with donations still accepted until June 17.
Eileen and Aoife have actively supported each Darkness into Light event for Pieta House after losing someone very close to them. With this year’s Darkness into Light cancelled due to Covid-19, the pair decided to try their hand at something a little different. This fundraiser was setup on the iDonate fundraising platform.
