‘Up For It’ Young wheelchair-user aiming to set personal best by walking kilometre unaided as dad urges public to send support

A YOUNG wheelchair-user is aiming to set a personal best by walking a kilometre unaided – and his dad is urging the public to send on messages of support and encouragement to help his son achieve the goal.
Uisneach O Nuallain, 10, from Ballybrack in south Dublin, lives from a rare genetic condition called 1p36 Micro-Deletion Syndrome.
The youngster suffers from low muscle tone as a result of the genetic disorder which delays growth and development meaning any sort of physical activity can be tough.
Despite this, the brave boy is planning to battle a one-kilometre walk and set a personal best for himself on Saturday – all while raising funds for Enable Ireland.
